I stayed at Flinders Backpackers for a few nights while visiting the city. The location right next to Finders Street Train Station was perfect for easy exploration. The staff were incredibly friendly and created a cute, homey atmosphere. The interior colors were vibrant and the bathrooms were clean and easily accessible. The spacious room had an amazing view of the city center. The breakfast was the best I've ever had, especially the pancakes. The added bonus of free pasta and rice was great. The staff was always helpful with recommendations, especially the two guys at reception. a top place to stay.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Affordable and Convenient
I had a wonderful time during my Christmas stay at a backpacker hostel in the heart of the city. The best aspect was definitely the affordable price, which allowed me to save money for other holiday activities. The location was also a major plus, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. I really enjoyed the fun and lively atmosphere at the on-site bar, which made it a great place to meet new people and celebrate the holiday season.
There were a couple of aspects that I didn't particularly like. The noise level in the hostel, especially during the night, could be quite high and disruptive to sleep.

My stay at Flinders Backpackers was fantastic! I stayed for 5 nights and the twin room with private bathroom was excellent. The room size was generous and it was pretty clean. The facilities in the room, such as the TV, bar fridge, and tea/coffee sachets were great. The staff, especially Tiffany who checked us in, were friendly and attentive. I loved the locker and basket provided for each guest. The free dinner and breakfast were a bonus, and the location in the city was perfect. The bed was comfortable with 2 pillows per traveler, and the 24hr reception was handy for our late check-in.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The staff were absolutely amazing, always helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and the complimentary coffee/tea a nice touch. The variety of free activities and movie nights were a blast. The location was perfect, right near the train station and free trams, as well as many pubs and restaurants. The hotel had a fantastic large kitchen, equipped with everything we needed. The free breakfast was delicious. The shared bathrooms were kept clean and had everything we needed, including toiletries and hairdryers. The rooms had comfy beds with fresh sheets and lockers, and the city view was breathtaking. The male staff went above and beyond to try and help me with a power adaptor, even though someone had borrowed and not returned it. our stay was absolutely mind-blowing and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The location of this hostel is unbeatable, with easy access to public transportation, shopping areas, and entertainment venues. The staff at the hostel were extremely friendly and helpful, always willing to provide recommendations and assistance. the inclusion of free breakfast and Thursday night dinner was a great perk.
The noise levels in the hostel can be quite high, especially on weekends, due to the nearby bars and public transport. This can make it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
